Performance, Monitoring and Audit

The function of the PMA Sub-Board is to develop a mechanism of receiving Safeguarding Performance information from all the Partner agencies within Trafford. The group then gains assurance that any deficits or concerns in terms of safeguarding performance are identified and plans put in place to address these. Once this has been done, the group ensures that any action plans or other plans relevant to the work of the TSB are monitored and kept up to date.

The Sub-Board also organises multi-agency case file audits and other processes to help the Board be assured of the quality of safeguarding work in Trafford. Critical Friend Visits are also used to assure the Board about the detailed safeguarding responses of selected agencies.
